It feels like coming home, yet every visit still brings new discoveries. Along the way, I’ve had many conversations with interesting people, travelers, locals, entrepreneurs and quite often, the topic turned to comparing Vietnam and Thailand.
Some people believe you shouldn’t compare countries. I understand that perspective, but for me, it’s not about declaring one “better” than the other. What I aim to do is highlight the differences. Not to create a ranking, but to show just how diverse South East Asia is. For those who haven’t been here yet, that perspective can be inspiring and eye-opening.
It’s great to be in Bangkok, but I’m more looking forward to seeing Noona again in Chiang Mai. I’ve now have collected enough footage for a week or so and I’ll be editing in one of my favorite cities in Thailand.
