My journey started back in 2021 when I left the UK exploring the streets of Thailand. Since then, I been dedicated to showing you the beauty and wonders of not just Thailand, but also the amazing countries that surround it in South East Asia. My goal is to give you a real feel for the places I visit, from the stunning landscapes to the vibrant cultures.
What makes Chai Travel unique is that I don’t just focus on the tourist spots. We also make sure to talk to interesting people we meet along the way. We do street interviews, asking locals about their lives, their favorite places, and their cultures. This way, you get a deeper understanding of the places we visit and the people who live there.
It’s always good to be prepared for what you can expect to have a flawless stay in South East Asia. The main topics we talk about are; safety, joy, travel advice, expat life, hazards, diverse cultures, and food.
One of the best parts of our journey has been meeting incredible individuals who have shared their stories and insights with us. And speaking of stories, one particularly special one involves my girlfriend Noona. We met during our travels, and she quickly became part of my life and therefore pops in and out of the show occasionally.
Now, we explore new places together, share fun moments, and learn from the people we meet along the way. So, whether you’re someone who loves to travel or just enjoys watching adventures from the comfort of your own home, Chai Travel is here to take you on a journey through Southeast Asia. Join us as we navigate through bustling markets, the newest shopping malls, sample delicious street food, and uncover hidden gems that will leave you in awe.
So far the YouTube videos cover; Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, The Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. The countries we still need to go to are; Myanmar, Brunei, and Timor-Leste.
You might think: “What is Chai talking about when he’s saying “stay champ?” So here’s the meaning of “stay champ”: A way to say someone is a winner. A motivational greeting, saying you wish someone will keep winning in life.
