Cambodia continued
It’s difficult from time to time to travel around without Noona. I got so used to be around each other all the time. While I’m missing her I also meet amazing people from locals to foreign fellow travellers. I’ve visit Battambang, Phnom Penh, and Koh Rong. The killing caves in Battambang where the most impressive to me. Koh Rong/Rong Island surprised me big time as I thought not much of it before going. This island is so beautiful!
Myanmar 2024

I’m writing this from Myanmar and I’m a bit nervous. It is not safe to talk about the war and trying to make videos about the current situation. But knowing that there are almost no NGO’s active in the county breaks my heart and I cannot do anything else than try to make my stay useful. Not just showing the country with my YouTube channel but I try to help people in need. I see many people who need help around me. On the street in the city of Yangon but, it’s even worse in remote areas. I hope people can help me so together we can help people in Myanmar. I met a guy called Maung Maung. He invited me to his home outside of the city. For his safety, I have to blur his face and cut out the parts which shown the location he lives right now. He and his community lives about 2 hours from Yangon and while I’ve visit him I found out that he and his neighbourhood are living in tough conditions. The inflation is high, there is not much work for them to earn enough money to create a better living condition. I’m still trying to find a right NGO but by the looks of I need to find a different way to help out. I see how much I can help Maung Maung and his family while being here. I’ll try to set something up and maybe we’re able to help Maung Maung and his community even while I’m not in Myanmar anymore.
Continue the trip
I’m planning to go to Mandalay in a couple of days. I just had a look at the news and saw that yesterday a landmine went of destroying a part of a bridge on the old Yangon- Mandalay highway. This is worrying. Maybe I should fly to Mandalay? I will have to see how I continue this trip as I’m ready to leave Yangon
